LADY TIGERS REACH AREA FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 13 YEARS

TUTTLE LADY TIGERS REACH AREA TOURNAMENT FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 13 YEARS. THE LADY TIGERS ENED THE SEASON FOR THREE TEAMS AS THE WIN THE LOSER BRACKET OF REGIONALS. WE ENDED THE SEASON OF THREE GOOD TEAMS THIS PAST WEEKEND. ALL THREE OF THESE TEAMS WERE RANKED IN THE TOP 20 AT SOMETIME DURING THE SEASON. Coach Vick

THE TUTTLE LADY TIGERS FINISH SECOND PLACE IN THE WHEATBELT CLASSIC.

THE LADY TIGERS REACHED THE FINALS OF THE WHEATBELT CLASSIC TOURNAMENT HELD AT KINGFISHER FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE PROGRAMS HISTORY. THE LADY TIGERS DEFEATED #15 RANKED CLINTON TO REACH THE FINALS. IN THE FINALS KINGFISHER DEFEATED THE LADY TIGERS BY 17 POINTS. Very proud of how the girls competed in the tournament this past weekend. 2008 Fall Finish (Dallas, TX)

 

Members of the Tuttle Lady Tigers basketball competed against several Texas High School teams in Dallas this past weekend. Tuttle went 2-2 in the NCAA Fall Finish. Tuttle beat one class 4A from Dallas and one 5A school from Houston. Many NCAA coaches were attendance during the only evaluation week in October. Not all members of the team were able to attend the event. The girls had fun playing (winning) and hopefully several young ladies were seen by college coaches during the event.

Lady Tigers 9th finish second @ Am-Po Okarche tournament Tuttle High School 9th team defeated AM-PO thursday night to advance to the finals of the AM-PO/ Okarche tournament. The Lady Tigers could contain Okarche hot shooting from the outside as they finished second in the tournament. The 1-3-1 half court trap game us troubles at first but once we settled down we were ok. The problem was by then we were down and had to go man D. It is something that we are working on but just not ready to play just yet. Girl's played hard and had a successful tournament. Lady Tiger members excell at OC Cage Camp Several members of the Lady Tiger's program excell at Oklahoma Christian Cage Camp. Congratulations ladies on a successful summer.		Lady Tigers 7 and 8th grade teams finish 2nd place in conference tournament play Both teams advance to play for the conference championship games during the conference tournament held at Tuttle Middle School gym. .
Lady Tigers handled Lone Grove Tuttle's Taylor Bonnewell had a career high 23 points as the Lady Tigers defeated Lone Grove to open up their home court season. The Lady Tigers got out to 20 point lead and never looked back as they defeated Lone Grove by 17 points		Tuttle New Head Coach Former Oklahoma Baptist assistant coach Johnny Vick was named new Head Girl's Basketball coach. Vick served as assistant women;s basketball coach at Oklahoma Baptist University from 2000-2005. During his head coaching career, Vick has won two national championships, two state runnerup, and one State Championship.
